BIGBAG

FIBC/Super Sack/Jumbo Sack Container Liners

Liqua BIGBAG

A flexible intermediate bulk container (FIBC), super sack, jumbo bag, jumbo sack
bulk bag, or big bag is an industrial container line made of flexible woven polypropylene fabric that is designed for storing and transporting dry, flowable products. Key industries are chemicals, minerals, food, and feeds.

Stable Bag…

Leaning, unstable standing bags are a common problem in our industry, especially if the cargo has a light specific gravity.

Overall, Q-bag design is being used in the industry to overcome not only the stability problem mentioned but also to avoid the ‘round shape’ appearance of the bag after filling. Although Q-bags are partly providing a solution to the above, they are not applicable if the cargo is humid sensitive and/or requires an inner PE (polyethylene) liner.

LiquA Stable bags have extreme high stability, get a square shape after filling, and yet polyethylene inner liner is applicable. Its unique patented shape is square at the top & bottom, whereas it has a concave-narrowing form in the center/belly. Thus, the bag is stable even with super light density products but also utilizes the full space of the containers/trucks.

Depending on the nature of the cargo, our engineers may design the bigbag with polypropylene pipe supports integrated into the vertical – side seams of the bag for ultimate stability and stacking performance.

  • High-stability bag for super-light products.
  • Safe handling and stacking.
  • Polypropylene pipe has supports at the corners for greater stability.
  • 20% more product than standard FIBCs, yet no baffles.
  • Form a stable shape without baffles.
  • Easy filling, free from baffles.
  • Polyethylene liner is applicable.

Modified Atmosphere
FIBC

Modified atmosphere packaging is becoming increasingly common. It has been claimed that the technique enables significant shelf-life extension but, in so doing, presents an increased public health risk.

Shelf life, sensory quality, and safety of packaged products may be optimized by harmonising the relationship between product and packaging.

Benefits
Retain freshness and quality
Extended
shelf life
Stabilized
moisture content
Protection against
insects

Longer shelf life Higher quality

Food packaged in a protective atmosphere spoils much slower. Modified Atmosphere Packaging can significantly extend the freshness and shelf life. This effect varies depending on the product type. However, a doubling of the shelf life is usually possible. Normally, MAP products maintain high quality over a longer period of time and arrive at the consumer in the best possible condition.

Container Liners

Transporting bulky, granular, or powdered products in standard containers costs valuable time in terms of cleaning and sterilization. LiquA’s container liners are designed to solve this issue by protecting products from contamination and moisture and improving the efficiency of the loading and discharge processes.

What is a Container Liner?

A container liner is a material that is placed over the inner surface of a container in order to provide a buffer between the product being transported and the container walls.

Container liners are used in standard containers for bulky, granular, and powdered products with fluidity. We use food-grade materials for our Container Liners to keep the goods dry and hygienic during transport.

  • Protect commodities from contamination, moisture, and pests.
  • Very efficient installation process. Save time on loading and discharging.
  • Savings on the costs of packaging, labor, and time.

Our container liners are made out of polyethylene film and polypropylene woven fabric, but can be used with 20-, 30-, and 40-foot HC containers.
